Bernard (Bunny) Warner

Bernard (Bunny) Warner is recognized as one of the finest lacrosse players ever produced in this area. His lacrosse career began in 1958 at the age of 14 as a member of the Long Sault-Ingleside Combines. In 1964, he was a member of the Cornwall Wildcats who won the Seaway Junior Lacrosse league pennant. In the mid-sixties, while working as principal of St. George's Separate School in Long Sault, Bunny played three nights a week on a team based in Granby, Quebec. Later, he was offered a position on a team coached by John Ferguson in Sorel
