Born and raised in St. Andrew’s West, Cameron has excelled at all levels of hockey including stops with the Seaway Valley AA, Upper Canada Cyclones AAA, Eastern Ontario Wild AAA, Brockville Braves Under 18 AAA, and the past two season in the CCHL with the Cumberland Grads and Cornwall Colts. Cameron was drafted in the 1st round of the 2014 CCHL by the Brockville Braves. He was an offensive contributor in his two years playing for the Cumberland Grads and Cornwall Colts, scoring 72 points in 117 games. He will continue his Junior career next winter playing in the United States and has secured a scholarship in Division 1 of the NCAA with Robert Morris University for the 2019-2020 season.
He also displayed his athleticism while attending St. Joseph Secondary School. He played on an EOSSA championship soccer team, was named Senior Tennis MVP, Hockey MVP, and Senior Male Athlete of the Year.
Cameron is also a certified lifeguard and instructor with the Lifesaving Society of Ontario and has spent the past three summer guarding and instructing at Township pool facilities in St. Andrews West and Long Sault.
