Carly McPhail
Track & Field, Basketball, Karate
2014

Carly is currently attending Rothwell-Osnabruck this Fall of her final year of high school. She has competed the past three season at the EOSSA level for both track and field and basketball. Carly is known for her defensive play on the basketball court and was part of an R-O team that won three consecutive EOSSA medals, including Silver in 2011, Gold in 2012, and Bronze in 2013. This past season Carly joined the Cornwall and United Counties Lions Girls Basketball Association, and previously played 5 seasons of travelling basketball with the Upper Canada Ice Basketball Associations.

Carly has now spent seven seasons with the Seaway Karate Club, and was awarded her black belt after passing eleven katas at the World Kobuto Confederation. She has a second place finish at the Team Kata Capital Conquest in 2013 and a third place finish in sparring at the Perth and District Martial Madness Tournament in 2013. She is now recognized as a Sensei and is teaching at various age levels in the community and is looking forward to future competitions.
