Dale Swerdfeger 

Athlete - Hockey/Fastball

Inducted - 2016

His junior hockey career started at the young age of 14 where he established himself as an offensively gifted defenseman who won a number of personal awards. During his junior career he also started playing in the NSIHL where he would play for over 25 years winning a number of league championships, contending for scoring titles as a defensemen, and most valuable player honours.

 

Dale was also an accomplished fastball catcher and hitter playing in the John Denenny Fastball League winning a championship and a most valuable player of the year award. He continues to compete at the Provincial and National Senior Games at both levels and has played on Championship teams at the CARHA World Cup in 2008 and 2015.
