South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame

Until a career ending injury at the age of 17, Ellen won several championship awards including Canadian and British Overseas Champion. It was during these years that she founded the Ellen Cameron School of Dance.  Her competitive dancers have been successful at all level of competitions throughout the world and she continues teaching to this day.  Ellen has also taught workshops throughout Canada, the U.S. and Scotland, and was a guest speaker twice at the World Highland Dancing Conference, speaking on how to train elite dancers.  Most recently, she has been invited to teach in Australia in early 2017.
