South Stormont Sports Hall of Fame

Since 1990 Guy has enjoyed a tremendous coaching career with girls’ basketball programs at a variety of local high schools.  His teams have earned two EOSSAA Gold Medals, two EOSSAA silver medals, and nine SD&G Championships.  He has also been coaching with the Cornwall Lions program since 2007 and his teams have won a number of medals at the EOBA and OBA levels.  In 2011 his Lions team represented Ontario at the Eastern Canadian Championships in Newfoundland and came home with a Silver medal.His coaching efforts have been recognized with a number of coaching awards including the OBA Coach of the Year, CUCBA Volunteer of the year, and a CUCBA director’s award.
