After that, he went on to play with the Upper Canada Cyclones AAA and was subsequently drafted by the Cornwall Colts where he was a solid defencemen for two seasons.

Parker displayed his all-around athletic ability by demonstrating an early love for all sports. His soccer career started on the Ingleside field where he began playing at the tender age of three. He continued to play soccer in the area and then became a key member in the Blazers organization for many years.

Parker also was very involved in high school sports while attending St. Joseph's Secondary School - playing basketball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, hockey, tennis, badminton, and cross country. Parker won various MVP awards for St Joe's and was named the top Jr athlete when he was in grade ten. He excelled in javelin and set the SDG record in grade ten and qualified for the East Regional completion and narrowly missed qualifying for OFSAA by a couple of centimeters.

Parker also learned to give back to the community at an early age and was a young volunteer helping coach the basketball program at the Lancer Center. He also refereed both soccer and ball hockey in Long Sault. In 2014 he is pursuing his academic goals and he is now attending Queen's University and majoring in Physical and Health Education.
