High School Athlete and Hockey

Shana graduated from St. Josephs Catholic Secondary School this past June. Shana has won numerous awards at St. Joes as well as in the community. Her awards at school include, MVP, top female athlete, and the most dedicated award. These awards include most sports played in high school. She has won awards in hockey, volleyball, tennis, badminton and track and field. Shana competed at OFSAA in 2014 and was one of the best javelin throwers in Ontario. In 2016 Shana made regional OFSAA.

Shana was a multi award winner at the Lions Club award banquet this past year. She won the Dave Dorman track and field award, high school volleyball award, and the RBC $1000 bursary winner. The RBC bursary award goes to a student for academic and athletic excellence. Shana also won a winter games legacy award in 2016 for academic and athletic excellence.
