Susan (Tait) Fetterly
Multi-Sport Athlete
Inducted: 2008

Susan (Tait) Fetterly was an outstanding multi-sport athlete at Osnabruck District High School. From 1962 to 1966, she received many individual awards, as well as contributing to team awards and championships in track & field, volleyball, basketball, softball and badminton.

In her first year at ODHS, she was a member of the girls softball team that won the inter-school championship, and served as captain of the basketball team. She was also on the championship badminton team, the championship volleyball team, and was a member of the track & field team that set a record and won the Meikle Cup as the top senior team at the Seaway Track & Field meet in Iroquois.

Throughout the remainder of her high school years, Sue continued to collect individual honours and help teams win championships in basketball, volleyball, softball and track & field. She won several MVP awards, and was captain of the junior girl's basketball team that won the EOSSA 'B' championship, went undefeated during the regular season, limited their opponents to an average of 5.5 points per game, and even held one team scoreless.

In her final year at ODHS, Sue dominated the girl's athletic awards. She was named Top Girl, most valuable softball player, most valuable senior girls basketball player, and was co-winner of the top award for girls senior track & field.

After high school, she continued to play competitive softball, and also played on a Newington team that won the Stormont Ladies Broomball championship in 1970.

Sue is an active golfer and bowler.
